CBP Seeks Maintenance for Mobile Video Surveillance System

The Federal Aviation Administration, on behalf of Customs and Border Protection, has issued a market survey for contractor interest in organizational level service and maintenance of the Mobile Video Surveillance System (MVSS). The MVSS is a surveillance system equipped with electro-optic and infrared cameras mounted in the bed of a light duty 4×4 truck or similar mobile platform for deployment to field positions. FEMA Seeks Identity Verification and Authentication Support Services

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has issued a pre-solicitation notice to fill a requirement for individual identity verification and authentication support services. The agency plans to award a potential five-year contract for the series. FEMA uses the services as part of the registration process for disaster survivors to apply online for disaster assistance, and for the National Emergency Family Registry and Locator System, which assists in the reunification of disaster survivors. DHS CWMD Office Issues RFI for Mobile Detection Deployment Program

The Department of Homeland Security Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) Office has issued a Request for Information for the Mobile Detection Deployment Program. DHS seeks contractor support for Mobile Detect Deployment Units, which may be deployed in support of national special security events, state and local special events, training activities, and to augment routine operations. The units provide a national radiological and nuclear detection surge capability and they are equipped with mobile detection systems, portable backpacks, handheld radioisotope identification devices, and personal radiation detection devices. TSA Conducting Market Research for Software in Support of Workforce

DHS Plans Industry Day in January for Financial, Procurement and Asset Management Systems

The Department of Homeland Security plans to host an industry day in January to further its engagement with industry on financial, procurement and asset management systems (FPAMS). DHS currently plans to conduct two procurements for FPAMS, one for software and the other for system integration support services. The award for the software is expected in June 2019 and for the system integration support in Aug. 2019. A draft statement of work is planned for release in December. Sol.
