The non-profit federal professional services company Analytic Services Inc. (ANSER) last week said it has acquired Domain X Technologies, a small firm that provides subject matter expertise across a range of technical needs to customers with the Defense and Homeland Security Departments and other federal agencies.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. DXT is a woman-owned small business based in Northern Virginia.

DXT provides program management, DoD acquisition, systems engineering, software engineering, and modeling and simulation support to its customers. On its website, DXT says it has a “strong reputation throughout the chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense industry” and the company provides expertise to its customers throughout the acquisition life-cycle.

ANSER said the acquisition gives it more analytic depth and breadth within its existing business sectors.

“The acquisition of DXT gives us greater depth and breadth of data and information analysis particularly with regard to modeling and simulation as it is applied to chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear issues,” Carmen Spencer, president and CEO of ANSER, said in a statement. “That capability will enable us to better advise our government clients about the range of solutions at their disposal, thereby enhancing the value we deliver.”

DXT said combining with ANSER will provide its staff with more opportunities and expertise.
