Captain William Chubb, USN Program Manager (PMA272) - Advanced Tactical Aircraft Protection Systems
CAPT Chubb is currently assigned to Program Executive Officer - Tactical Aircraft as the Program Manager for Advanced Tactical Aircraft Protection Systems (PMA272).
Following initial flight training he was trained as a Radar Intercept Officer flying the F-14 Tomcat. His operational squadron tours were with the NAS Oceana based "Red Rippers" of Fighter Squadron Eleven (VF-11) Fighter and the "Swordsmen" of Fighter Squadron Thirty Two.
As a tester he was assigned to the "Evaluators" of Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Four (VX-4) in Point Mugu, California. Following graduation from the US Navy Test Pilot School CAPT Chubb served in the Naval Weapons Test Squadron (VX-30), also in Point Mugu. His last flying tour was as Commanding Officer of the "Dust Devils" of Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Three One (VX-31), Naval Air Weapons Station, China Lake California.
CAPT Chubb's other tours in Naval Air Systems command include the Naval Aviation Depot (NADEP) Jacksonville Florida and in the F/A-18 Program Office (PMA265) in Patuxent River MD as EW-IPT Lead.
