Vistronix, a provider of integrated cloud solutions and data analytics, on Thursday said it has acquired three companies supporting the intelligence community.
The deals include The Agency Consulting Group, which provides enterprise mission information technology (IT) solutions, Objective Solutions Inc. (OSI), which provides big data, cloud, cyber and signals intelligence solutions, and ExaTech Solutions, Inc., an IT firm that provides software, systems and networking engineering support to various intelligence community customers.
Terms of the deals were not disclosed. ACG and OSI are both based in Columbia, Md., near the National Security Agency at Fort Meade. ExaTech is based in Northern Virginia.
Vistronix, which is based in Northern Virginia, said the deal for ACG puts it at the “heart of intelligence community IT transformation initiatives” given the ACG’s customer base in the intelligence community. ACG provides its customers with technical solutions in the areas of cloud computing analytics, critical systems infrastructure and specialized mission solutions.
Vistronix said that ACG is a “primary architect of the intelligence community’s edict to migrate applications, software and infrastructure to cloud-based, virtual environments.” The company has a large set of Citrix, VMWare, Linux and Solaris certified engineers supporting the intelligence community, Vistronix said.
“With this key strategic acquisition, Vistronix is extremely well positioned to provide high-priority solutions in supporting organizations across the National Intelligence Community in major areas such as technology, signals intelligence, information assurance and research,” John Hassoun, Vistronix president and CEO, said in a statement. “Our deal with ACG propels Vistronix to the forefront of IT infrastructure initiatives within the intelligence community and complements our customer-focused culture and forward-focused approach to new technologies.”
The McLean Group
served as the financial adviser to ACG on the transaction.
Vistronix said the deal for OSI complements its capabilities and also “accelerates Vistronix’ position at the forefront of cloud computing, big data and cyber operations technologies to assist intelligence and C4ISR organizations in innovating and implementing cost effective mission solutions.”
Hassoun said OSI’s capabilities in “utilizing cutting-edge technologies in a highly-classified environment with Vistronix’ ability to apply technologies, methods, processes, and proprietary know-how to develop and integrate intelligence systems for front line operations” gives his company a “unique strategic opportunity.”
Vistronix also said that OSI deal will double its corporate presence at Fort Meade.
Hassoun also said that ExaTech will bolster Vistronix’ capabilities in cloud solutions.

Vistronix also said the deals provide it with the scale for driving innovation in areas such as data analytics, cloud computing, cyber security, and enterprise computing and mission IT.
