The Department of State has selected CGI [GIB], General Dynamics [GD] and PAE [PAE] to compete for task orders on its potential 10-year, $3.3 billion contract to provide consular support services worldwide.

Under the Global Support Strategy for Overseas Consular Support Services 2.0 contract, the companies will support visa application and issuance at U.S. embassies and consulates in 120 countries.

The State Department plans to award 18 task orders for information services, application and appointment services, fee collection, document delivery, queue management, staffing and off-site data collection to 175 locations.

CGI and GD supported the original GSS contract.

PAE is teamed with TLScontact, which is part of Paris-based Teleperformance, on its contract.
