SpaceX successfully reflew an unmanned Dragon capsule for the first time June 3 during its 11th commercial resupply services mission (CRS-11) to the International Space Station.

Carrying almost 6,000 pounds of research experiments, crew supplies and hardware, the Dragon lifted off aboard a Falcon 9 rocket launched from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The Dragon previously flew during CRS-4 in September 2014.

After stage separation, the Falcon 9’s first stage landed at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The Dragon reached the orbiting laboratory June 5 and is expected to return to Earth in about a month.
