Saab AB received an order for the production and delivery of camouflage equipment from the U.S. Army worth over $6 million, the company said on June 11.

Camouflage deliveries are planned to occur over the next six months.

“We are proud to be able to continue to deliver state-of-the-art solutions to the US Army. This order further proves Saab’s unrivalled position as the world-leader within signature management technology. It is also an important step forward towards sustaining a critical U.S. signature management industrial base,” Brian Keller, President of Saab Barracuda LLC, said in a statement.

Saab has been supplying the U.S. Army in the advance camouflage solutions product area for decades, the company highlighted.

Saab also exports camouflage technology products to over 50 countries. The products protect camps, vehicles, and personnel against hostile sensors and enemy target acquisition, the company said.
