Raytheon [RTN] yesterday announced new headquarters locations for two newly realigned operating segments, with the Intelligence, Information and Services (IIS) business to be located in Northern Virginia and the Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) leadership headed from California to Texas.

Raytheon in March said that effective April 1 it would consolidate its six operating groups into four, merging the Technical Services group into the Intelligence and Information Systems group to create the new IIS segment (Defense Daily, March 26). Technical Services was based in Dulles, Va., home of the new IIS headquarters, while Intelligence and Information Systems was in Garland, Texas.

SAS will be headquartered in McKinney, Texas, where it already has a major presence. The company will maintain its business operations in California and other states.

Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems and Missile Systems segments will remain in Massachusetts and Arizona, respectively.
