The private equity firm The Jordan Company last week completed its acquisition of VT Group, a provider of engineering, technical and support services to the Defense Department, civil and commercial customers.
The Jordan Company acquired VT Group from Britain’s Babcock International. Terms of the deal, which was first announced in May, were not disclosed.
“This is an exciting time for VT Group as we work with The Jordan Company to grow our business and capabilities,” David Dacquino, CEO of VT Group, said in a statement.
VT Group is the only pure defense holding in The Jordan Company’s portfolio. The private equity firm also owns Reinhold Industries, which makes custom composites components and sheet molding compounds for the military and commercial aerospace industries.
