The Cyber Solutions Center, part of Parson’s Cyber Critical Infrastructure Protection Initiative, is based in Northern Virginia and allows the company to imitate customer architectures, security vulnerabilities, and risk posture and provide testing and demonstrations to boost security for its customers. The company said the center provides the ability to demonstrate and analyze operational networks, including supervisory control and data acquisition systems, and industrial control systems that control critical infrastructures.

“Since Acquiring SPARTA, Inc., in 2011 and Secure Mission Solutions in 2014, Parsons has greatly enhanced its cyber security capabilities, and we’re excited to add the Cyber Solutions Center as an innovative dimension with the potential to enable better and more effective customer decisions about how to manage cyber risks,” Chuck Harrington, chairman and CEO of Parsons, said in a statement.

“Parsons has a unique perspective on the cyber security challenges faced by both government and commercial organizations today,” Phil Lacombe, Parson’s vice president and manager Information Systems and Security Sector, said in a statement. “We have been designing, building, and sustaining elements of critical infrastructure for more than 70 years. Our position as a trusted adviser to our customers, coupled with our deep cyber security and network operations expertise, provides a technology agnostic view of the cyber security requirements and solutions needed by our customers. Our goal is to enable our customers to make better investment decisions, based on demonstrated performance.”
