PAE ISR, a joint venture of PAE and AOC, has named Chico Moline as president, the company said last week.

Moline previously served as senior vice president and general manager of Vectrus, Inc.’s [VEC] information technology and network communication service line. Earlier he served as vice president and general manager for the IT services division of the Harris Corporation [HRS].

PAE ISR provides intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance solutions and services to U.S. government, NATO, and other international organization clients.

Moline has over 20 years of engineering integration experience “and proven success in leading growth organizations, was the perfect candidate to lead PAE ISR in addressing the strategic growth opportunities we see in today’s market,” Karl Williams, president of PAE and chairman of PAE ISR, said in a statement.

The announcement came as PAE ISR elaborated on its award on a Navy contract to provide unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) services in support of the Defense Department (Defense Daily, June 9). PAE ISR is set to support the contract with the tactical Group 3 UAS Resolute Eagle.

The Navy awarded PAE ISR, Academi Training Center LLC, Boeing‘s [BA] Insitu Inc., and Textron‘s [TXT] AAI Corp. a $1.7 billion contract vehicle for sea- and land-based UAS ISR services. PAE ISR is only eligible to compete for land-based task orders under the contract.

“I am honored to lead this team in delivering this unique product and its services to the DoD. PAE ISR has demonstrated its ability to provide high-throughput beyond-line-of-site capability with the Resolute Eagle, and we are looking to delivering those mission-essential features through future task orders,” Moline said.

The company noted it “has significant experience in system integration, test and evaluation, operations and maintenance, logistics, training, deployment support, and leased UAS services” because it is a lead systems integrator and full service provider for UAS.
