She is the second official to hold the deputy commandant for information position since it was created June of last year. Reynolds succeeds Lt. Gen. Daniel O’Donohue who was been selected to serve as the Joint SPtaff’s next J-7 director.

Reynolds has previously voiced her concern for greater industry involvement in creating tactical cyber capabilities for the Marines’ air-ground task force (Defense Daily, April 12), and the need for Cyber Command to make greater use of its new acquisition authority (Defense Daily, March 13).

No successor has been named yet for the next leader of the Marine Corps’ Cyber Command unit.
