ManTech International [MANT] on Monday said it has acquired Edaptive Systems LLC, a provider of information technology (IT) solutions to federal health agencies, further building out its presence in this space.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. ManTech said the acquisition was funded with cash on hand and will be slightly accretive to its financial results in 2017.

ManTech said the acquisition improves its ability to pursue business throughout the federal health community. Edaptive is the fourth acquisition in the federal health space since 2012 with previous deals including ALTA Systems, Evolvent Technologies and 7Delta.

“This acquisition is consistent with ManTech’s strategy to expand and strengthen our presence within the federal and civilian health markets, with our primary objectives of improving the quality of information available to all clinicians and the quality of care for those in need,” George Pedersen, ManTech’s chairman and CEO, said in a statement.

Edaptive, which is based in Maryland, has a key focus with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The company provides agile software development, testing and automation, business intelligence, data abstraction and IT services.

KippsDeSanto served as Edpative’s financial adviser on the deal. Edaptive has more than 250 employees and will become part of ManTech’s Mission Solutions & Services Group.
