The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) said Monday it notified Congress of possible foreign military sales (FMS) of aircraft and support to Libya and Kuwait worth a combined total of approximately $788 million.

DSCA said Libya requested two C-130J-30 aircraft, 10 Rolls-Royce AE 2100D3 engines (eight installed, two spares), aircraft modifications, government furnished equipment and associated equipment, parts, training and logistical support for an estimated $588 million. Lockheed Martin [LMT] develops the C-130J-30.

DSCA said Kuwait requested a possible sale of continued logistics support, contractor maintenance and technical services in support of the F/A-18C/D aircraft to include avionics software upgrade, engine component improvement, ground support equipment, and spare and repair parts, among others. The estimated cost is $200. Principal contractors would be General Dynamics [GD], Boeing [BA] and Wyle Laboratories.

The deals are contingent on Congress’ approval.
