Huntington Ingalls Industries [HII] on Monday said it closed its acquisition of Fulcrum IT Services, adding expertise in cyber security, C5ISR, intelligence operations, software development and data analytics.

Terms of the deal, which was first announced last month, were not disclosed.

Fulcrum, which has about 400 employees, is now part of HII’s Technical Solutions segment. Fulcrum will broaden HII’s Technical Solutions business in the intelligence and special operations communities. The Northern Virginia based company also adds new defense and federal customers.

Andy Green, president of Technical Solutions, told Defense Daily

in January that Fulcrum brings a cleared and experience workforce. Several hundred of Fulcrum’s employees hold security clearances.

The Federal Trade Commission approved the deal on Feb. 14.
