Northrop Grumman [NOC] on Tuesday named Brett Lambert to be its new vice president of corporate strategy effective Jan. 26, succeeding Stanley Szemborski, who has retired from the company.  

Lambert will develop and implement the company’s business focus area strategies and will also serve as the chair of the strategic development council. He will report to Mark Caylor, corporate vice president and president of Enterprise Services and chief strategy officer.

Lambert has been serving as an executive-in-residence with the aerospace and defense consulting firm Renaissance Strategic Advisors and in roles with the Center for Strategic and International Studies, and the National Defense Industrial Association.

Lambert previously served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manufacturing and Industrial Base Policy. He has also worked at the defense consulting firm DFI International and for the Department of State.

Northrop Grumman also appointed Ron Foudray as vice president for Business Development at its Information Systems sector. He has been with the company since 2004, most recently as vice president of Business Development with the Cyber Division at Information Systems.
