Josephine Millward covers small and mid-cap companies in the Defense and Homeland Security Technology sector.  Josephine follows defense and homeland security policy and spending priorities in Washington D.C.  Her research universe includes companies that provide technology to the government related to military modernization, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), force protection, as well as explosive, radiological, chemical and biological threat detection for airport, port, border security and critical infrastructure protection. 

Prior to joining Dougherty & Company, she was a Senior Defense/Homeland Security Analyst with the Stanford Washington Research Group.  She began her equity research career at JP Morgan Chase as an Associate Analyst, covering global communications technology companies. Josephine received her MBA from Georgetown University and bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of California , Riverside
