Barbara Fast is vice president of Cyber Solutions for Intelligence and Security Systems (I&SS), a division of Boeing’s Network and Space Systems. In this role, she will organize and lead Boeing's efforts in support of the U.S. government's Cyber Initiative, leading our ground-based and other integrated intelligence and security solutions for a variety of U.S. government customers. She will help foster collaboration and shared information from all agencies to help secure cyber networks.

Fast joins Boeing after serving more than 30 years with the U.S. Army. In her most recent post, she held the position of U.S. Army Major General with a range of expertise in intelligence and security systems including secure information and intelligence processing, networks and data mining. 

Fast has also led the development of tactical and national intelligence solutions for a broad community of stakeholders. She has had significant leadership positions within the U.S. Army and the National Security Agency, and was the intelligence director for the Coalition Joint Task Force in Iraq.
Fast holds a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Boston University in Boston, Mass. and a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. She also is a graduate of the Army War College in Carlisle, Pa.
