Mr. Clinton is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Internet Security Alliance (ISAlliance).
ISAlliance currently has over 500 corporate members on four continents representing virtually every major segment of the economy. ISAlliance offers its membership a combination of business, technical and public policy services all built around improving world wide cyber security. Through its exclusive relationship with Carnegie Mellon University’s CyLab, ISAlliance members receive access to weekly televised briefings and training sessions on emerging security issues as well as exclusive publications and tools that integrate the legal, technical and business issues involved in a full corporate security program. Among the issues ISAlliance is currently covering are software assurance, risk management, outsourcing, insider threats, privacy, incident handling auditing, the new Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure on electronic information. as well as creating model contracts. Through ISA sponsor companies receive regular access to the top policy makers in DHS and the Congress.
Mr. Clinton is a well know source on information security. He has testified several times before Congress as well as appearing on C-SPAN, MSNBC and C-NBC. He has authored Best Practice publications which have been endorsed by organizations ranging from the US Dept. of Homeland Security to NAM, NFIB and the American Bankers Association. This year he served as Guest Editor for two special editions of the Cutter Technology Journal on Cyber Security, just published in book form, and he has published numerous articles on the subject.

Mr. Clinton sits on the Board of the National Partnership for Cyber Security, The Internet Education Foundation and the Advisory Board of the US Congressional Internet Caucus, the IT Sector Coordinating Council and is a member of DHS’s Critical Infrastructure Protection Advisory Council. Mr. Clinton also chairs the NCSP Committee on Incentives for Improved Corporate Security. Prior to coming to ISAlliance Mr. Clinton was Vise-President at US Telecom Association (USTA) In this capacity Mr. Clinton was responsible for coordinating federal legislative and regulatory issues including broadband development, security, intellectual property and international issues.
Before working for USTA, Mr. Clinton was a Legislative Director for six years in the House of Representatives and has served as a private consultant for a variety of industries including banking, media, entertainment, health care, and the federal government. Mr. Clinton holds a Master’s degree in Political Communications from the University of Maryland and has completed the course work for a Doctorate in Communications Theory at the University of Illinois.
