Andy Biss, Sensis Corporation

Mr. Biss is the Lead Systems Engineer for Sensis Corporation's Open Architecture Radar Upgrade product line. He has developed a common back-end signal processor for both 2D and 3D, S- and L-Band radars, the most recent applications of the OA work are the ASR (Air Surveillance Radar)-3 and the HADR (Hughes Air Defense Radar). These upgrades have focused on providing improved supportability while maintaining system performance with modern design techniques for radar systems. Prior to this role, Mr. Biss worked on sensor integration and radar performance modeling for USMC radar programs. From 1998 to 2003, Mr. Biss provided analytical support to the US Navy SLBM program while working at the Naval Surface Warfare Center at Dahlgren. Mr. Biss holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University and his Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Pennsylvania State University.
