The Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Science & Technology (S&T) Directorate plans to enter contract negotiations with the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) for aid in the development of a revolutionary new compressed air system to improve self-contained breathing apparatus for first responders.
