Vocality offers a range of hardware and software products that it says “unify communications platforms, enhance voice quality, increase video performance and improve data throughput.”

The acquisition follows several others Cubic has made in the area of C4ISR.

“The acquisition of Vocality is extremely important to our overall company and C4ISR strategy as Vocality’s solutions expand our offerings and strengthens our business in this emerging area,” Bradley Feldmann, president and CEO of Cubic, said in a statement. “The addition of Vocality expands our C4ISR portfolio, along with DTECH, GATR and TeraLogics, and will provide further opportunities in higher growth and higher margin markets.”

Vocality will become part of Cubic Missions Solutions (CMS) segment. Cubic said that Vocality’s products will enhance its content and intellectual property on key programs of record that CMS is responsible for.
