Cross Match Introduces New Document Scanner

Cross Match Technologies has introduced a new document reader that can do high speed data capture from radio frequency identification memory chips used in e-passports and ID cards. The D SCAN Authenticator CF automatically completes a full page scan in two seconds. The Authenticator CF connects easily to a PC. “The Authenticator CF is a durable and lightweight system designed with our customers’ required specifications in mind,” says Gerhart Ernst, managing director of Cross Match’s German division. The device also complies with International Civil Aviation Organization and International Standards Organization standards.
