Raytheon Missiles & Defense, Tewksbury, Massachusetts, is awarded an $8,507,184 cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and cost modification to previously awarded contract N00024-17-C-5145 to exercise options for Zumwalt Class engineering support, material and other direct costs in support of the engineering efforts. Work will be performed in Portsmouth, Rhode Island (33%); San Diego, California (29%); Tewksbury, Massachusetts (24%); Bath, Maine (13%); and Fort Wayne, Texas (1%), and is expected to be completed by May 2022. Fiscal 2022 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $2,500,000 (29%); fiscal 2021 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $2,061,669 (24%); fiscal 2022 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $2,000,765 (24%); fiscal 2019 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $1,247,178 (15%); fiscal 2021 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $296,428 (4%); fiscal 2018 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $210,175 (2%); fiscal 2020 shipbuilding and conversion (Navy) funds in the amount of $108,482 (1%); and fiscal 2020 other procurement (Navy) funds in the amount of $82,487 (1%) will be obligated at time of award, and funds in the amount of $82,487 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was procured under the statutory authority of 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements.
