Camber Corp. said yesterday it has acquired Veritas Analytics to bolster its capabilities in intelligence analysis and cyber security.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Northern Virginia-based Veritas has 30 employees. The company’s employees are intelligence professional with experience in data collection and analysis, counter-narcotics analysis, geospatial intelligence, and counter-terrorism support.

Camber said the acquisition, along with its recent purchase of intelligence and information technology services provider i2S, Inc., add to its existing capabilities for cyber security in the intelligence community to provide comprehensive strategic solutions.

“Demand is mounting for multifaceted cyber security expertise, specifically the ability to assess and address both government and commercial vulnerabilities, and then disseminate policies and protection throughout both communities,” Bruce Schoemer, senior vice president for Camber’s National Security Group, said in a statement.
