CACI International [CACI] last week completed its acquisition of the information technology solutions firm Paradigm Holdings, disclosing that it paid $61.5 million for the small publicly traded company.

Paradigm provides CACI additional capabilities in cyber security, such as network security monitoring, designing and upgrading data centers, and managing security and network operations centers. CACI said that the new capabilities will allow it to better respond to persistent threats to its government clients.

Key customers of Paradigm include the Federal Aviation Administration, Defense Information Systems Agency, and the Departments of State, Energy and Treasury.

CACI expects the deal to be accretive to earnings during the first year. Paradigm expects to have $55 million in sales in 2011.
