Army Seeks Sources for Man Transportable Robotic System

The Project Manager of Robotics Systems Joint Project Office at the Army’s TACOM Live Cycle Management Command has issued a Sources Sought notice for Increment II of the Man Transportable Robotic System (MTRS) with the following potential applications: CBRN; Explosive Ordnance Disposal; and combat engineers. TSA Plans RFP for Boarding Pass Scanners

The Transportation Security Administration plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Boarding Pass Scanners (BPS) that will be used to scan airline electronic and paper boarding passes, and validate and display vetting results and flight and passenger information. The agency says the BPS is a commercial product. The scanners will be used by Transportation Security Officers to supplement the manual process of visually inspecting boarding passes.
