TSA Issues BAA For Transportation Security Innovative Concepts

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has issued a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) to obtain proposals for research projects for projects that support the agency’s mission, including advancement and improvement of security operations, technologies, processes, human-factors, and capabilities. The agency is specifically interested in research that will provide for near-term improvement of current security operations and capabilities. DARPA Solicits for Integrated Cyber Analysis System

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has issued a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) seeking innovative research proposals that enable revolutionary advances in science, devices or systems related to cyber. The Integrated Cyber Analysis System aims to make information technology system information readily useful for attack forensics and tactical cyber defense by automatically integrating all device data and generating a complete, current picture of the enterprise. DARPA envisions an ICAS solution comprised of two principal elements, a connecting layer to enable federation of currently stovepiped IT system data sources, and tools for analyzing, visualizing, and reasoning over the ICAS federated database. FPS Seeks Armed Security Officers in Illinois

The Federal Protective Service has issued a pre-solicitation for armed protective security officers at various locations throughout Illinois. A Request for Proposal is expected to be posted around April 3. The contract will have a one-year base period and four one-year options with an additional six-month option.
