TSA Issues Draft RFP for Recompete of Universal Enrollment Services Contract

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has issued a draft Request for Proposal (RFP) to recompete its Universal Enrollment Services (UES) contract that is currently in place with MorphoTrust USA. SOCOM Plans Evaluation of Tactical Biometrics Technologies

The U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) has issued a Request for Information to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and to explore industry capabilities related to an evaluation planned for March 2018 of next-generation capabilities for biometrics identification. The capabilities include, but are not limited to, the collection and on-board storage of a subject’s facial photograph, iris, fingerprints and voice capture. The capability should include the potential for the transmission of the information in a Defense Department Electronic Biometric Transaction file format to an onboard or national database and receive a match or no match response for use by the operator conducting the biometric collection activity. DHS S&T Issues RFI for Feedback for Future Long Range BAA

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate has issued a Request for Information (RFI) seeking feedback from industry, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and other interested parties regarding suggestions for innovative efficiencies to simplify the directorate’s long-range Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) procedures. Army Corps of Engineers Announces Prequalification of Sources for Border Security

The Army Corps of Engineers is seeking to create a prequalified sources list for horizontal construction projects in support of Department of Homeland Security program for Southwestern Border Security and Immigration Enforcement Improvements. The list will be used as a vehicle to solicit several stand-alone “C” type construction contracts with a total value of up to about $1.8 billion. Only firms on the Prequalified Sources List will be eligible to compete for these solicitations. The list of projects likely to be advertised to the firms on the list include a mix of border fence, border wall, border patrol roads, access roads, lights, gates, drainage, levee walls, and other improvements, repairs and alterations. CBP Seeks Solutions for Wireless System Requirements

Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) Wireless Systems Program Division has issued a Request for Information seeking innovative wireless communication approaches, technology, tools, applications, equipment and solutions to improve and enhance the ability to successfully and efficiently accomplish the agency’s diverse mission. FAA Surveys Market for RVSS-Upgrade and Legacy Systems Component Repair and Spares
