Leidos [LDOS] has protested a Transportation Security Administration award to Peraton for integrated logistics services for the agency’s security equipment installed at the nation’s airports. Leidos is the incumbent for the work. TSA awarded Peraton a potential five-year, $578 million contract to support its Transportation Security Equipment. The Government Accountability Office will render a decision on the protest by Jan. 31, 2018.

WidePoint Corp. [WYY] has received its first task order from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for equipment and mobile managed services. The order, valued at $620,000, means that the company now provides mobile managed services to all major components of the Department of Homeland Security.  The award was made under the DHS Cellular Wireless Managed Services Blanket Purchase Agreement.

The Army and Navy’s Cyber Mission Force teams have both reached full operational capability a year ahead of schedule. U.S. Cyber Command validated the CMF’s met all training and capability requirements needed to carry out current cyberspace operations. The 40 Navy CMF teams were approved for FOC on Oct. 6 and the Army’s 41 teams on Sept. 28.
