American Technology Corp. [ATCO] has received a $1.1 million order from the United Arab Emirates to deliver its Long Range Acoustical Device-Remote (LRAD-R) systems for critical infrastructure protection. LRAD-R can be used remotely across an Internet Protocol network enabling operators to respond to potential threats from a safe environment. ATC says it has also received initial LRAD and LRAD-R orders from two oil and gas companies in India. The value of the orders’ wasn’t disclosed. ATC expects to deliver the systems to the UAE and the oil and gas companies in the current quarter. The company also expects additional orders from its Indian customers this year.
