Rear Adm. (lower half) Brian Brannman is being assigned as director, Medical Service Corps, and deputy chief, Fleet Operations Support (M3F), Bureau of Naval Medicine, Washington, D.C. Brannman is currently serving as director for medical resources, Plans and Policy Division, N931, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Arlington, Va.

Rear Adm. (lower half) Martin Brown is being assigned as deputy for acquisition and business management, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition, Arlington, Va. Brown is currently serving as commander, Naval Supply Systems Command, N132, Arlington Detachment, Arlington, Va.

Rear Adm. Albert Calland III nominated for appointment to the rank of vice admiral and assignment as associate director of Central Intelligence for Military Support, central Intelligence Agency, McLean, Va. He is currently the commander, Naval Special Warfare Command, Coronado, Calif.

Rear Adm. (lower half) Donna Crisp is being assigned as assistant to the Chief of Naval Personnel for Sea Warrior, Norfolk, Va. Crisp is currently serving as deputy chief of staff for shore base management, N46, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Rear Adm. Robert Cowley III is being assigned as commander, Navy Exchange Service Command, Norfolk, Va. Cowley is currently serving as deputy for acquisition and business management, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (RD&A), Washington, D.C.

Rear Adm. (lower half) Steven Enewold is being assigned as director, Joint Strike Fighter Program, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Arlington, Va. Enewold is currently serving as deputy director for joint air strike technology, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Arlington, Va.

Rear Adm. (lower half) Arthur Johnson, is being assigned as U.S. Pacific Command representative and commander, U.S. Naval Forces, Marianas, Agana, Guam. Johnson is currently serving as chief, East Asia Pacific Division, J5, Joint Staff, Arlington, Va.

Rear Adm. (lower half) Rosanne Levitre is being assigned as director, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, FORCEnet, N6/N7, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Arlington, Va. Levitre is currently serving as director for intelligence, J2, U.S. Pacific Command, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Rear Adm. Walter Massenburg has been nominated for appointment to the rank of vice admiral and assignment as commander, Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. Massenburg is currently serving as assistant commander for Aviation Depots, AIR-6.0, Naval Air Systems, Patuxent River, Md.

Rear Adm. James McArthur nominated for appointment to the rank of vice admiral and assignment as commander, Naval Network Warfare Command, Norfolk, Va. He was director, J-3, U.S. Strategic Command, Offutt AFB, Neb.

Capt. Timothy McGee has been nominated for appointment to the rank of rear admiral (lower half). McGee is currently serving as vice commander, Chief of Naval Research, Arlington, Va.

Rear Adm. Robert Phillips is being assigned as deputy director, Ashore Readiness Division, N46A, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations, Washington, D.C. Phillips is currently serving as vice commander, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Washington, D.C.

Rear Adm. (lower half) Patrick Walsh is being assigned as commander, Carrier Group Seven, North Island, Calif. Walsh is currently serving as deputy director for strategic plans and policy, Joint Staff, Washington, D.C.

Marine Corps

Marine Brig. Gen. Michael Ennis assigned to director for operations, Defense Intelligence Agency, Washington, D.C.

Air Force

Maj. Gen. Donald Wetekam nominated for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general with assignment as deputy chief of staff for installations and logistics, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C. He is currently serving as commander, Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Air Force Material Command, Robins AFB, Ga.

Army

Brig. Gen. Harry Axson, director, Military Personnel Policy, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-1, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C., has been assigned as deputy director of operations, U.S. Central Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla.

National Guard Col. Frank Carlini nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Carlini is currently serving as the chief of staff, Headquarters State Area Command, N.J., Army National Guard, Fort Dix, N.J.

Maj. Gen. John Curran, United States Army, nominated for appointment to the rank of lieutenant general and assignment as the Director, Futures Center, Unite States Army Training and Doctrine Command, Fort Monroe, Va. He is currently serving as the Commanding General, United States Army Aviation Center and Fort Rucker, Fort Rucker, Ala.

Reserve Brig. Gen. Gregory Hunt has been nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. Hunt is currently serving as the commander, 100th Division (Institutional Training), Louisville, Ky.

Brig. Gen. William Jacobs, special assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-8, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C., is being assigned as deputy commanding general and assistant commandant, U.S. Army Aviation Center, Fort Rucker, Ala., with a report date to be determined.

Maj. Gen. Michael Maples, commanding general, U.S. Army Field Artillery Center and Fort Sill, Fort Sill, Okla., is being assigned as vice director, Joint Staff, The Joint Staff, Washington, D.C., with a report date to be determined.

Reserve Brig. Gen. Conrad Ponder nominated for appointment to the rank of major general. He is currently serving as chief integration officer, Office of the Chief Information Officer, G-6, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C.

Brig. Gen. Edward Sinclair, deputy commanding general and assistant commandant, U.S. Army Aviation Center, Fort Rucker, Ala., is being assigned as commanding general, U.S. Army Aviation Center and Fort Rucker, Fort Rucker, Ala., with a report date to be determined.

Reserve Col. George Smith nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. He is currently serving as deputy commander, 311th Theater Signal Command, Fort Meade, Md.

Brig. Gen. David Valcourt, director of strategy, plans and policy, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-3, U.S. Army, Washington, D.C., is being assigned as commanding general, U.S. Army Field Artillery Center and Fort Sill, Fort Sill, Okla., with a report date to be determined.

Reserve Col. José Vallejo has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Vallejo is currently serving as the commander, 1st Brigade/assistant division commander, 75th Division (Training Support), Houston, Texas.

National Guard Brig. Gen. Clyde Vaughn, deputy director, Army National Guard, National Guard Bureau, Arlington, Va., is being assigned as assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for National Guard matters, Washington, D.C., with a report date to be determined.

Maj. Gen. Richard Wightman is being assigned as deputy joint force trainer for education, doctrine and lessons learned, U.S. Joint Forces Command, Suffolk, Va.

Rich Ashooh has been named vice president of strategic relations and homeland security for the Information and Electronic Systems Integration sector.

James Jamieson has been named the company’s chief technology officer, succeeding David Swain, who in July was named chief operating officer for Integrated Defense Systems.

Walt Skowronski will serve as the president of the company’s finance arm, Boeing Capital Corp., succeeding Jim Palmer, who is retiring.

Cubic

Bill Hoese has been appointed corporate secretary.

Dan Jacobsen has been named vice president, Audit.

DRS Technologies

Donald Flodin has joined the company as vice president, general manager of the company’s Electric Power Technologies unit.

Ervin Kiriu has joined the company as vice president, programs of Electronics Systems Group.

Patrick Marion has joined the company as vice president and general manager of the company’s Laurel Technologies unit.

EDO

Leslie Kenne was elected to the company’s board.

General Dynamics

Mark Fried was appointed as president of a new C4 Systems business unit, which has been created through the integration of two units formerly known as Decision Systems and C4 Systems

Lester Lyles was elected by the board as director of the corporation.

Bryan Moss appointed executive vice president of the corporation and group executive of its Aerospace business group.

John Rank has been appointed to the position of vice president, material acquisition for the company’s Land Systems business unit.

Roger Fradin was named president and CEO of its Automation and Control Solutions business, succeeding Kevin Gilligan, who has resigned from the company.

MTC Technologies

John Longhouser has been promoted to president, succeeding David Gutridge, who remains as chief executive officer.

Northrop Grumman

Mary Ann Benischek has been promoted to vice president of Situational Awareness Systems within the company’s Navigation Systems Division.

Jerry Madigan has been named vice president and integrated product team leader for the company’s E-10A Multi-sensor Command and Control Aircraft (MC2A) program.

Dave Nagy has been named vice president and integrated product team leader for the company’s Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS) program.

Kevin Sharer, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Amgen, and J. Michael Cook, retired chairman and chief executive officer of Deloitte & Touche, have been elected to the company’s board.

Jon Jones has been appointed vice president of Missile Systems, succeeding Jerry Lockhard, who is serving on the company’s multi-function executive team.

Harry Schulte has been named vice president of Strike programs.

Mark Schultz has been appointed vice president of legal, succeeding Don Ellermann, who has retired.

Ronald Skates has been named chair of the company’s audit committee, replacing Michael Ruettgers.
