Arctic Slope Regional Corporation (ASRC) on Thursday said it has agreed to acquire national security solutions provider Vistronix Intelligence & Technology Solutions in a deal that will expand its federal customer base.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Vistronix is a portfolio company of the private equity firm Enlightenment Capital.

Vistronix’ key capabilities are in advanced analytics, signal processing, cloud computing, and large-scale data management.

“This acquisition demonstrates ASRC’s continued commitment to diversifying and growing our government services portfolio,” Rex Rock, president and CEO of ASRC, said in a statement. “The acquisition of Vistronix meets important objectives necessary for ASRC Federal to fulfill its role in ASRC’s strategic plan. Specifically, this acquisition expands our customer footprint in the intelligence community, and in key, select civilian and DoD markets, while strengthening discriminating capabilities in the areas of advanced analytics, signal intelligence, cyber security and large-scale data processing.”

Vistronix will become part of ASRC’s federal division, which provides engineering, information technology, logistics and professional management services to government customers.  Vistronix has over 700 employees.
