European aerospace manufacturer Airbus Group announced the roll-out of their 700th H130, their light single-engine helicopter on May 16.

The Airbus’ fleet of H130s have accumulated over 1.8 million flight hours and includes 340 operators around the world. The company’s light helicopters, which are used for private, passenger transport, have maintained the lowest operating cost in its class.  

The H130 is noted for its large cabin and low sound level. It is used mostly for business and private travel, as well as emergency medical services.
