The Air Force said yesterday it awarded Northrop Grumman [NOC] a potentially $490 million contract for follow-on support for the Combat Air Force Distributed Mission Operations and Integration program. Pentagon

The contract is firm-fixed price, single award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ). The Distributed Mission Operations Network 2.0 service contract will provide interoperability of dissimilar Air Force simulators to accomplish Air Force training requirements. Work is expected to be completed by 2018 with options that could extend the period of performance to 2023.
