Terms of the deal, which was announced in February, were not disclosed. Agilex is now part of Accenture’s Federal Services (AFS) division.

“Digital technologies are fundamentally changing the way that government organizations operate and interact with citizens, patients, employees, suppliers, partners and other stakeholders,” David Moskovitz, chief executive of Accenture Federal Services, said in a statement. “Combining the Agilex and AFS digital capabilities and agile methods accelerates our ability to help our federal clients make the digital transformation journey and improve services and outcomes.”

Agilex has about 800 employees. Customers include among others Amtrak, the Departments of Defense, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Justice, Veterans Affairs, the intelligence community, Census Bureau, and United States Postal Service.
