Twenty businesses have been selected for the Army’s Global Tactical Advanced Communication Systems (GTACS) contract, allowing them to pursue opportunities to supply the Defense Department and other government agencies with advanced communications solutions.

Advanced communications solutions could range from wireless networking to tactical satellite communications and handheld Joint Tactical Radio System- (JTRS) compliant radios.

Awardees were detailed in a notice posted on Federal Business Opportunities.

The GTACS contract is a multiple-awardee, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract with a ceiling of $10 billion. The contract is for the design, development, acquisition, production, deployment, operation maintenance and associated services for Program Executive Office Command, Control and Communications-Tactical (PEO C3T) systems hardware.
